Your day-by-day itinerary.

DAY 1

Elephants and baobabs in Tarangire

Leave Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring with your guide, pausing for a picnic at an authorised site. The route follows current wildlife conditions rather than a fixed sighting checklist. Later, continue to a lodge or camp in the Tarangire or Karatu area.

DAY 2

Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park and explore its contrasting forest and lakeside landscapes on a guided game drive. Stop for a packed lunch and allow time for birdwatching and photography. Optional activities require advance booking and are quoted separately. Continue to your accommodation in the Karatu area for the evening.

DAY 3

Ngorongoro Crater discovery

Depart early for a guided game drive within Ngorongoro Crater, subject to the permit and access arrangements confirmed for your booking. Bring layers for the highlands and enjoy a picnic at an authorised location. After your allocated exploration time, ascend to the rim and continue to accommodation in the Karatu or highlands area.

DAY 4

Return to Arusha

Enjoy breakfast and travel back to Arusha with time for a lunch stop where included. Your driver will take you to the agreed hotel or departure point. Book onward flights only after the operator confirms a suitable connection window. An extra night in Arusha can be arranged if you prefer a more relaxed departure.
